Who, What, When, Where, and of course Why?

Okay, here goes, i have never even attempted to write a blog. But I'm always down to try something twice.

WHO: Me, carol dao.

WHAT: Decided on my 27th birthday (Feb. 19th) while sitting on the motorboat in Venice, Italy that i'm going to move to Italy.

WHEN: April 6th, 2008

WHERE: To Florence, Italy.

WHY: Such a short word, with so much meaning. there's so many reasons why I'm moving. But I think the best reason for me, would be, "why not?" A couple years back, I once read one of the many Tom Hopkins, Zig Ziglar, Suze Orman, Napoleon Hill books and towards the end of one of these, I forget which one, the author starts to give his examples of whats he's been able to do. I mean, he goes into saying that he knows what it's like to sit in a parisian bakery on a sunday and smell the bread baking. He knows what the seashells looks like off Fort Lauderdale from deep sea diving and then he concludes with, "why not you?" And I took that to heart. Why not me? What's stopping me? I quit my job in October of last year, I moved back to my parents house, I turned in one lease and finally sold the other car, I gave back my land, paid off my credit card. First question people ask me is, "Kids? Married?" Nope. As much as they do not want me too, I have my parents approval. And the belief of my mother, who I cherish more than anything in this world. and my friends and acquaintances who tell me go for it, 'you're living my dream.' I've been extremely blessed for the life I'm living and I cannot thank God enough for everything. "THANK YOU." So all in all, there's really no one or anything stopping me... =) Oh, and something I've always wanted to do was watch the running of the bulls in Pampolona, Spain ever since reading the Ernest Hemingway's 'The Sun Also Rises' in 5th grade. So then i ask myself, why not me?
